You're Invited to Attend: Drafting & Updating Employee Handbooks

Employee handbooks present an opportunity to clearly communicate information that is important to employees, including: when they will receive their paychecks, how much vacation time they are eligible to receive, and grounds for disciplinary action. A handbook can be used to educate employees about the company's philosophy and its commitment to the community. Written manuals also help human resources personnel and management provide consistency in administering policies and procedures.

In addition to discussing the preparation and strategies for handbooks, Attorney Cook will review specific policies, including: wages and hours of work, equal employment opportunity, and appropriate behavior in the workplace.

There is no cost to attend this seminar.
